Why do sawdust need to be dried quickly?

Wood chips have a high moisture content (usually 40% -60%), and if not dried in time, they are prone to mold and rot, which affects their subsequent use (such as biomass fuel, feed, and board processing). Traditional air drying has low efficiency and industrial production relies on specialized equipment.


2、 The core factor of rapid drying

1. Initial moisture content control

Problem: A moisture content greater than 60% will consume a large amount of heat energy and reduce efficiency.

Solution: Use a dehydrator (such as a centrifuge) for pretreatment to reduce the moisture content to below 40%.
